Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Hey! My name is Ayaan Qayyum. I am a junior at Middlesex County Academy for Science, Mathematics, and Engineering. I founded this initiative as a means for the youth to be connected and engaged with Islam at its essence. The heart of leadership is something I believe many fail to master properly. With me as your Chief Executive Officer, I hope not only give back to the Muslim community, but to grant prosperity to it in the long run as well.
Shanzeh Malik
Director of Design
Hey there! My name is Shanzeh Malik! I am a senior at Northern Highlands Regional High School. Through this platform, I hope to learn even more about the religion I grew up on, and likewise, be able to help others become closer to it. As the Director of Design, I hope to create capturing designs. I also hope to contribute to our outreach team to expand Islam through our events. I’m so excited to work with you all!
Sharafa Mohammed

Hi! My name is Sharafa Mohammed and I am a sophomore at the Middlesex County Academy for Science, Mathematics, and Engineering. Deen and Iman are very important to me, so I hope to spread my knowledge, learn more about Islam, and do good for the future. I work as the Co-Director of Social Media for this organization, so I manage our website, our social media, and all things online!

Hey everyone! My name is Maha Mustensir and I am a sophomore at Edison High School. Islam is one of the most important things in my life that helps define me. As a growing teen in the 21st century, I hope not only to learn more about my religion but also spread the knowledge I have. I work as the Co-Director of Social Media for this organization, managing our website, our social media platforms, and all things online!

Salam! My name is Tooba Yasser and I am a junior at Carteret High School. I hope to spread knowledge to fellow teenagers and to hopefully inspire them to follow the path of Allah (SWT) and His Messenger (ï·º) through our articles and other ventures. I am the Director of Editing here at MLT, which means that I go through each and every article to make sure that it is informative and interesting for the Muslim community to enjoy. Hey! My name is Shehzad Sultan. I am a Junior at Hillsborough High School and a former student of the Middle County Academy for Science, Mathematics, and Engineering Technologies. I hope to increase the readership of our work and make ourselves more prudent to the general public while also utilizing the expertise that I have gained from past experiences and spreading it to our team and its members as the acting Director of Outreach.

Assalam-o-Alaikum! My name is Aysha Syeda and I am a junior at Middlesex County Academy for Allied Health and Biomedical Sciences. As the Director of Expansion, I am excited to spread MLT's works. As a Muslim living in the age of social media, I cannot wait to learn more about Islam, help connect our community, and strengthen our values.
